In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, millions of school children are suddenly stuck at home. But, a shift in the location of children to the home does NOT equal homeschooling any more than a week full of snow days.
For most families, it’s temporary.
For those families that want to explore home education in Connecticut, we’re here to help! Check out our homeschooling Quick Start Guide!
Visiting a city and living in a city can be two very different experiences. When visiting a city for the first time, it can be easy to get lost and turned around. It can also be full of fun, excitement, and new experiences. Some people dive in with a heart to experience more than the average tourist and look for the best spots that only the locals know about. And, then most people end their vacation ready to go home.
Millions of families are now accidental tourists in our homeschool community. They aren’t homeschooling until they make an intentional decision and commitment that this isn’t temporary.
If you’re a homeschool parent, you’re probably going to have a lost parent ask you for directions. Let them know about our beautiful community and all that it has to offer. They might be a tourist today, but tomorrow they just may be your neighbor.
