Volunteers Opportunities

Would you consider volunteering?

The truth is, the success of this sale is 100% dependent on volunteers.  We can’t do it without you!

Benefits of Volunteering:

  • Joy in serving others.

  • Camaraderie and fellowship with other homeschool families.

  • Satisfaction in knowing you have provided others the opportunity to purchase curriculum at prices they can afford.

  • Plus, you get to shop* one hour before the sale begins!!

*If you sign up to VOLUNTEER by April 18, 2020 and work 3 hours or more, you are welcome to shop one hour before the sale opens to the public on May 2nd and have first choice of sale items.  (We welcome teens who are good workers to also volunteer). See below for volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Drop-off Coordinators to receive sale items from Sellers prior to the sale.

  • Set-up Crew to sort and organize book displays the day before the sale (Friday, May 1st, anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm). We appreciate cheerful people who like to make things look neat and orderly!

  • Sales Crew to assist shoppers and keep book displays neat during the sale (Saturday, May 2nd, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm).

  • Cleaning Crew to clean up the facility (vacuum, replace furniture, empty trash, etc.) after the sale (Saturday, May 2nd, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm). We are grateful to the First Bible Baptist Church for the use of their building and, if possible, seek to leave the facility better than we found it.

  • Strong Men & Teens to assist during setup (Friday, May 1st) and during breakdown (Saturday, May 2nd) transporting tables, equipment, and sale items for Sellers.
